Keynote Speaker On Collaboration & Relationships In Business

Experiential, inspiring, and high-impact keynotes on collaboration and relational intelligence for leaders, sales professionals, and team members

Why the cliche that "it always comes down to relationships" is more true than ever in our digital age—but why so many find relationships at work so very challenging to build, develop, and sustain.

Learn brain-based ways to shift state quickly to treat people with kindness, reciprocity, and empathy even when very busy, stressed, or overwhelmed.

How to have difficult conversations and deal with difficult people—and maintain porous yet firm boundaries that keep everyone safe.

Hacks to ensure others feel seen, heard, appreciated, and respected—and how to ensure they remain so even when the pressures of work build and the problems of projects require urgent attention.

How to go about delegating effectively, with guidance and guardrails, so others feel empowered—and how to inspire people to be a radiator—energizing and enlivening—not a drain!

How to lead very different forms of collaboration—from co-ordination to co-creation—and how to unblock the inevitable tensions and conflicts that will eventually undermine all collaborations.

A standing ovation! I am already sharing the insights with my leaders. Thank you!

A third of work stress and suffering arises from difficult interpersonal relationships. Forty-two percent of workers report common occurrences of yelling and verbal abuse in their workplace, with 30% admitting to yelling at a co-worker due to personal stress. On the flip side, leaders with high relational energy drive 400% more profitability and productivity than those struggling with effective relationship leadership. The majority of professional and organizational failures I’ve witnessed stem from challenging interpersonal relationships hindering connection, creativity, and collaboration crucial for successful innovation and business transformation.

The challenge for relational leadership and collaboration is immense because our evolutionary responses to threats, including seemingly invisible micro-stresses, trigger fight, flight, freeze, and people-pleasing reactions. These unconscious, long-established patterns lead to dysfunctional interactions, communication breakdowns, and often escalate into resistance, drama, friction, and frustration. This, in turn, results in poor performance, toxic teams, and limited innovation or business transformation. Achieving success in these areas requires significant interpersonal risk-taking, support, encouragement, and trust.

Having experienced the difficulties firsthand as a leader of leaders, boss of many, and serial collaborator, I’ve learned that being adept at interpersonal relationships and collaboration is one of the most challenging tasks, especially for those who are sharp and smart. Nevertheless, great relational and collaborative leadership enhances performance, productivity, engagement, job satisfaction, and retention. Leaders prioritizing relationships are more effective, driving customer satisfaction and contributing to a better bottom line, ultimately boosting shareholder returns.

Years of collaboration with my peers have led to the development of powerful tools and practices that transform sticky and difficult interpersonal dynamics, unlocking positive relational energy—the kind that uplifts, enthuses, and regenerates our people. When given your brief, I commit to working tirelessly to amplify your messages, elevate your ambitions, all while remaining independent as a thought leader, challenger, and aspirer. Each of my keynotes is customized to surpass expectations, connecting with your specific audience to unleash energy, momentum, inspiration, and traction. I can share insights on kindness, empathy, and deep listening, even in busy and overwhelming situations.

I saw the room go from a bit tired to very inspired. Totally engaging and fully immersive. You wouldn’t want to miss a second of it. It was powerfully supercharged right from the start.
